Yes. FPS offers abrasive blasting and powder coating in-house. Abrasive blasting removes mill scale, rust, and old coatings while creating a surface profile that helps powder coating adhere properly.

For many projects, we recommend blasting before powder coating to achieve the most durable finish.

  • Blasting and powder coating as a finishing package

If your powder coating project includes technical drawings or models—for example, parts we are also fabricating—preferred file types are DXF, DWG, STP and PDF. 

For simpler refinishing or stand-alone powder-coating jobs, photos and a written description (including approximate dimensions and conditions) are often enough to start a quote.

Yes. Powder coating is often the final step in our full-service fabrication workflow. We can:

  1. Laser cut, bend, and weld your parts
  2. Abrasive blast them for surface prep
  3. Apply powder coating in-house
  4. Package and ship finished, ready-to-install components
