Custom metal fabrication at FPS covers mild or carbon steel, stainless steel 304 and 316, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, and coated or plated metals when appropriate. Metal thickness – 28 gauge up to 2.5 inches. Bending capability up to .5 inch. Ability to cut up to 2 inches on Plasma and 1.5 inch on laser.
Yes. Custom metal fabrication has no minimum order. We support one offs, short runs, and large production.
Preferred formats are DXF, DWG, STP and PDF.
For custom metal fabrication, cut features are often plus or minus 0.010 to 0.020 inches and formed angles plus or minus 1 degree unless the print calls out tighter. We will review drawings and advise on achievable results.
